Sometimes it’s difficult to know where to start. Speaking from experience, it’s helpful to know what resources other people use, so you can craft a system that works best for you. Our blog post discussing our favorite books for personal growth and development did so well we wanted to gather all our favorite resources to share with you too!
Whether you’re looking to start your own business or you’re looking to find alignment and purpose these resources are for you!
Business Tools
Google Drive
This is our go-to resource for all things internal and client-facing documents. We use Google Docs for meeting agendas and notes. Google Sheets (our favorite) are great for keeping track of leads, engagement, time sheets—and we’re known to create some badass sheets for our clients as well.
Slack
Slack is a communication tool that allows you to send messages in chat-room-like channels AND private one-on-one direct messages. Not only is this great for internal team communications. We have channels for each major function of the business to keep conversations organized among our varied tasks and projects. Additionally, we use Slack for our Mastermind members and our 1×1 clients so they can directly message our team privately!
Zoom
If you don’t know what Zoom is did 2020 even exist? 😉We use Zoom to meet weekly for our internal team call. The platform allows us to create custom meeting rooms for each client where we can meet with ease for our discovery and coaching calls—and we can record the sessions automatically in the cloud for later reference.
Canva
Design and building our aesthetic has always been an important part of our company structure. Canva is our go-to content creation platform. We have our brand logo, fonts, and colors saved on our account which makes it easy to share among the team and create consistent content. It’s perfect if you’re still DIYing your brand or aren’t an Adobe Creative Suite expert!
Kartra
We use Kartra to host our digital programs, online courses and memberships, manage our email marketing, and build our sales funnels. It’s a one-stop shop for squeeze pages, course creation, and email marketing—and even integrates seamlessly with their sister company WebinarJam.
Zapier
Zapier is a tool that allows you to connect your applications in order to automate tasks (aka a precious time saver). For example: It allows us to connect our Typeform app to Slack. The connection will send us a notification on Slack whenever someone new fills out our intake form. The automation possibilities are limitless. See our feature on the Zapier blog here!
